Wes Long

Wes Long is the founding attorney of Long & Associates, LLC, where he has practiced since 2004. His playing days as a University of Alabama football letterman (1996-1999) and All-SEC Academic Player drove his passion for sports law and athlete advocacy.

With a strong background in real estate acquisitions, collections, and entity formation, Wes serves as General Counsel for numerous businesses including Lake Guntersville Hotel, LLC; Jacksonville Hotel, LLC; Guntersville Boat Mart; Rohogo Management Company, LLC; and Wintzell's N.A., LLC. He represents clients in business entity formation, real estate planning, and estate planning.

As Managing Partner and Closing Attorney for McDonald Long & Johnston, LLC ("MLJ Escrow"), Wes oversees 200+ real estate transactions per month across multiple locations in the Southeast. He is a licensed insurance agent in Alabama and Tennessee, preparing title insurance commitments, HUD-1 settlements, and deeds.

Wes is the proprietor of Rohogo Management Group, LLC, a full-service vacation rental and development management company for the hospitality industry, commercial, and residential real estate. He also serves as General Counsel and Managing Member of Southern Most Pointe, LLC (79-room Fairfield Inn & Suites franchised by Marriott International) and Lake Guntersville Hotel, LLC (79-room Hilton Worldwide franchise).

From 2010 to 2014, Wes served as State Representative for the Alabama House of Representatives, District 27 (Marshall County), where he sat on the Financial Services & General Fund Committee and the Permanent Joint Committee on State Parks.

Wes is married to Jordana Long. They have three children: Maly Kate, Mac, and Mills.
