Our standards
We aim for original, useful, plain-language content that answers a real reader question. Guides should identify their scope, avoid promises or case predictions, distinguish general information from legal advice, and direct readers to qualified help when facts or deadlines matter.
Sources and dates
We prefer primary sources such as statutes, courts, agencies, regulators, and official forms. Insight pages identify source links and visible publication or update dates. Readers should check the linked source and seek current advice because laws, rules, fees, policies, and agency interpretations can change.
Authorship and technology
Content credited to the LawAli Legal Editorial Team is organizational material; it is not represented as the work of a specific attorney unless the page expressly identifies that attorney. Research and drafting technology, including generative tools, may help organize a draft. It does not replace source verification, professional judgment, or individualized legal review.
Corrections and updates
